Here are some questions that you will need to consider and help you better understand before becoming a cosmetic surgery tourist.
1. Is the procedure right for you? Making sure you choose the surgery that will provide the improvements you desire is important for optimum results.
2. Are there any risks or complications involved? With any surgery, minor risks are possible. Find out what kind of aftercare support is available, who covers the cost of revision surgery, if there’s any expected scarring and recovery time.
3. Is the surgeon trained and certified? Check that the surgeon has the necessary accreditations to ensure they are experienced in delivering the procedure.
4. Is the clinic or hospital international certified? Enquiring about the clinic or hospitals certifications is important to know whether the facility meets with comprehensive quality and patient safety standards.
5. NO PARTYING- As tempting as this can be alcohol is really your enemy. Pre-surgery alcohol can thin your blood making it incredibly dangerous in surgery. Post surgery you are in recovery mode, on strong pain killer and antibiotics. Make sure you give yourself adequate time to recover from hitting the clubs and showing off your new assets when you get home.
6. Are accommodations good for recovery? It is essential to find comfortable accommodation near the facility where you received your surgery. This will ensure faster access to your doctors if any complications arise.
